Evgeny Khromushin, Igor Bryntsalov, and Sergey Yurov took part in the launch ceremony of the new Municipal Boiler Plant No. 2 on Pobedy Street on Thursday. RIAMO (Reutov) – October 27. The Moscow Region Minister of Housing and Communal Services Evgeny Khromushin, Chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma Igor Bryntsalov, and the head of Reutov, Sergey Yurov, participated on Thursday in the launch ceremony of the new Municipal Boiler Plant No. 2 on Pobedy Street, reports a correspondent of the Reutov Information Agency. “With the launch of this boiler plant, we are not only solving the issue of preparing for the upcoming winter, but also creating opportunities for the development of Reutov. In addition to significantly reducing the periods of hot water shutdowns, any new residential construction will be reliably supplied with heat,” Khromushin said. The minister urged other municipalities to follow Reutov’s example and invest in the modernization of heating systems, including through attracting private investment. The reconstruction of Boiler Plant No. 2 was fully financed by an investor, with around 1 billion rubles spent. “The practice of attracting investors for the modernization of public utilities should be implemented across all municipalities in the region. Breakthroughs of this scale are impossible relying solely on municipal and regional budgets. We thank the investors who took part in this project,” Bryntsalov said, expressing gratitude to the investing company. During the ceremony, the investor, as well as the staff of the Reutov Heating Network and the construction team, received honorary certificates from the Moscow Region Ministry of Housing and Communal Services. The head of Reutov highlighted the high pace of the work. “In just seven months, state-of-the-art equipment—including three modern boilers—was installed. We have tripled the capacity of the boiler plant. At the same time, the city was replacing heat pipelines, which made it possible to complete the integration of the heating system,” Yurov noted. According to Yurov, merging the city’s heating facilities into a single network allowed uninterrupted provision of hot water and heat to residents during the reconstruction of Boiler Plant No. 2. The new boiler plant supplies several residential districts in the northern part of the city.
