Construction of the new production facility in the settlement of Torbeevo began last year. The first stage of the project includes a new continuous-flow technology that has no analogues in Russia or Europe: from the preparation of meat mince to the production of finished products, their packaging, and delivery to a warehouse equipped with gravity shelving. The total area is 20,000 square meters. All workshops of the new facility are equipped with machinery from leading industry manufacturers. For example, the forming and thermal-processing areas feature unique equipment, while in the packing zone a robotic system places finished sausage loaves into corrugated boxes.
Currently, the cooked-smoked sausage production line is undergoing testing. In June, the automatic sausage-production line will be launched. This facility will allow for the production of 400 tons of products per day and create 200 new jobs. As a result of implementing the entire project aimed at increasing sausage production, the number of employees in the holding’s meat-processing division in Mordovia will reach 2,013 people by 2018. The total payback period is eight years. Over the course of the investment project, the total amount of tax revenues to the consolidated budget of the Republic of Mordovia will exceed 2 billion rubles. LLC “Atyashevo Meat-Processing Complex” is part of the full-cycle agricultural holding “Mordovsky Bekon,” the Talina Group of Companies. The holding unites enterprises engaged in crop production, feed manufacturing, industrial breeding and fattening of pedigree pigs, and the production and sale of meat and sausage products. The holding’s investment projects are included in the region’s 2013–2018 development program. More than 3 billion rubles are planned to be invested in the modernization of the holding’s meat-processing division (Phase 1). The Atyashevo Meat-Processing Complex consists of three sites located in Atyashevo, Torbeevo, and Saransk.
Development of a comprehensive automation solution is the creation of a unified, integrated control system that combines software and hardware to automate all key business and production processes of an enterprise. Such a system provides centralized management, resource optimization, increased productivity and product quality, as well as reduced costs and workforce requirements.
