A new slaughter facility at the Uralsky pig complex is now open!

In February, in the village of Volkovskoye, Bogdanovich District of the Sverdlovsk Region, a ceremonial event was held to celebrate the successful completion of the second stage of construction of the pig complex and the commissioning of the modern slaughter facility of JSC “Uralsky Pig Complex.” From this moment, the enterprise will carry out meat-processing operations within a fully integrated production cycle. Officials and guests arrived to congratulate the management and employees of JSC “Uralsky Pig Complex” on the successful implementation of the project in the Urals region, including Mikhail Kopytov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Sverdlovsk Region; Vladimir Moskvin, Head of the Bogdanovich Urban District; Mikhail Oskolkov, Head of the Agriculture and Food Department of the Bogdanovich Urban District; Andrey Tyutyushev, General Director of JSC “Siberian Agrarian Group”; Koba Gumberidze, Deputy General Director for Projects in the Urals Region of JSC “Siberian Agrarian Group,” and others. “For the Sverdlovsk Region, this is truly a very important event.

First of all, it means new jobs and additional budget revenues… And most importantly, with the opening of the slaughter facility, the Sverdlovsk Region will be able to provide itself with 60% of its meat needs!” said Mikhail Kopytov in his welcome speech while unveiling the granite obelisk symbolizing the completed construction and the enterprise reaching full operational capacity. “For us, the opening of the new slaughter facility is the next stage in the development of the Uralsky pig complex. Thanks to the modern technologies and automated production systems installed in the facility, we will be able to control product quality at all stages of production,” noted Andrey Tyutyushev, General Director of JSC 'Siberian Agrarian Group.' The honor of cutting the traditional red ribbon was given to Andrey Tyutyushev, General Director of JSC 'Siberian Agrarian Group,' and Koba Gumberidze, Deputy General Director for Projects in the Urals Region. For all guests and employees present at the ceremony, a tour was organized showcasing the new equipment. Vladimir Trishevskiy, Deputy Director of JSC “Uralsky Pig Complex” for meat processing and supervisor of the slaughter facility construction, highlighted the main equipment—an Italian 'Rovani' slaughter line with a capacity of 120 heads per hour, as well as modern refrigeration chambers. Thanks to this equipment, primary processing will reach 1,000 head per shift. It should be noted that the decision to build the new slaughter facility in the village of Volkovskoye was made by the Tomsk team in 2011 as part of the project to increase production capacity of the pig complex by 1.5 times. The total cost of the project amounted to 260 million rubles. Once operating at full capacity, the facility created about 115 new jobs for residents of the Bogdanovich District. At the end of the tour, all invited guests received a pleasant surprise—delicious food gift sets from the Uralsky Pig Complex.
